This past weekend I had the pleasure of creating a Cherry Blossom topper cake and cupcakes for one of my very own elementary school teacher’s daughter! I absolutely LOVE Cherry blossoms and was more than thrilled to create the goodies for Meredith’s wedding. Meredith was married on Saturday at the NY Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

We provided Meredith with her topper cake, 75 cupcakes and 30 mini cupcake. Congratulations Meredith!

We were contacted a few weeks ago by Jamelle about providing video game related cookie favors for her son’s 7th birthday. After discussing what she had planned for the party, we created Wii remote cookies for her!

We were contacted a few weeks ago by Shannon and Chris about providing 1st birthday cookie favors for their daughter’s 1st birthday. We had the pleasure of working with Shannon and Chris back in 2009 for their NYC themed wedding. For Ava’s 1st birthday, the theme was butterflies. Shannon sent us a copy of Ava’s invitation and we were able to use the number “1″ that was on her invitation, and put it directly onto the cookie.

Happy birthday Ava Grace!

With Spring finally approaching, we’ve been getting a taste of love here! These monogrammed heart shaped cookie favors where made for an engagement party that took this past weekend. Sticking with their color scheme, we used red for the hearts and ivory icing.

Congrats to our two love birds!

For my husband’s 30th birthday I decided to work on my sculpting since I’ve been getting more requests as of  lately. Also the fact that we have a little boy on the way just got me thinking that I should do more “playing” as I call it.

My husband Chris, is a HUGE Marvel fan, and is very excited about the upcoming Avengers movie. Lately we’ve been spending time re-watching Iron Man 1 and 2, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America and Thor (which is his favorite)! When I asked him what type of cake he wanted, he joked about me sculpting Thor’s Hammer, Mjölnir. Being that my mind has been totally wrapped around having a little boy…I ran with it!

Chris’ cake was chocolate with a blood orange butter cream and blood orange slices!

Now I have officially made 2 out of the 4 Avengers! I had the pleasure of providing Michelle’s little boy, Logan, with an Iron Man cake for his birthday this past October.

Logan’s cake was a red velvet cake with cream cheese butter cream.

I wonder which Avengers character I’ll end up doing next?!

It seems to me that whenever we are asked about wedding favors, our couples get very creative incorporating their theme, wedding colors and even their hometown into their favors. Recently we’ve been doing a lot of our I <3 NJ cookie favors! Not only are our clients using them as wedding favors, but they are also adding them in their “welcome bags” for their out of town guests.

When using a theme for your wedding, keep in mind that it can also be carried through to your “welcome bags”.  This will help your guests feel at home from the second they arrive. When Chris and I got married in April, we had a lot guests coming from not only the West Coast, but from Puerto Rico and South America. I made the I <3 NJ cookies and also filled our “welcome bags” with NJ related goodies such as salt water taffy, M&M’s (the Mars factory is located in Hackettstown, NJ), directions to the Cherry Blossom festival, tokens to the Turtle Back Zoo, Dunkin Donuts coffee (there is a factory located in NJ), a bottle of water and of course….popcorn! One of mine and Chris’ favorite snacks, just to name a few of the goodies we provided to our guests.  Our guests loved our bags and even the Managers for the Residence Inn could not stop raving about them.  Our guests could not stop talking about the personalized bags we provided for them and how welcomed they felt.

Let us know how we can help you in providing the perfect favors for your wedding and/or “welcome bags!”

I have always loved our frog cookies! There has always been something about them that makes me giggle! So when our client, Donna, contacted us for her daughter’s frog themed birthday party, we leaped at the opportunity. Not only did we provide Donna with our frog cookie favors (which we placed on sticks so they could be part of her center piece), we also created lily pads and lily cookie favors. Take a look at what we created for her!

On August 3rd, my dad celebrated his 65th birthday, just 3 weeks after Derek Jeter hit 3,000 hits at Yankee Stadium! My dad, the die hard Yankee fan, was in complete awe that day. I was so happy that my dad was home that day to be able to see it! In honor of my dad’s 65th and Derek Jeter’s 3,000 hit, I created this birthday box just for him!

Last weekend we had the opportunity to create Lilly Pulitizer “inspired” shift dress cookie favors for a bridal shower. The shower took place at the Basking Ridge Country Club. We had so much fun creating these fun, flirty, summer dresses! The colors were hot pink, green and white and this is what we created!
