This past weekend we had two baby showers, both of which were on Sunday. The first baby shower was for Marni Gold of Creative Custom Card Boxes. We had the pleasure of meeting her and her mom back in January at The Wedding Party at the Meadow Wood Manor. An amazing event designed by Jenny Orsini of Pampered Bride Weddings and Lisa of A Touch of Elegance. For Marni we provided her with these 45 blue and yellow baby rattle favors! Congrats Marni!

The second baby shower took place at Francesco’s in Woodland Park. We provided the custom made centerpieces, professional balloon work, 40 chicky cookies, and our smallest cupcake stand that held 40 cupcakes. The flavors included red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese buttercream and our topper cake was chocolate with chocolate pudding and bananas.

A couple of weeks ago we were contacted by a client asking us if we could provide her with sail boat cookie favors for her friend’s baby shower.  She told us that everything for this new little boy is sail boats! What an adorable and different theme for a baby shower! Here’s a pic of our work!

Lately we’ve been noticing a pattern…a baby pattern to be exact! For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been doing A LOT of baby cookies! I love all  our cookies, but there’s something sweet and adorable about baby cookies.  Just take a look at some of the cookies we’ve done for baby showers and Christenings lately!

This past Sunday we were honored to provide Christening cookies for Jenny Orsini. For those of you who don’t know Jenny, she’s the owner of the fabulous “Pampered Bride Weddings”. She has been featured on “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?!,” The Best of 2008 Project Wedding, and “The Knot Best of Weddings 2009″….just to name a few! Here’s a shot of what we did for her, photographed by the incredible Josh Lynn!

It was a pleasure working with her and we look forward to continuing to work with her and her ladies at PBW again in the very near future!

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I know I did! Last week was a great week for us! We were asked by a client if we could make Peter Rabbit themed cookies for her daughter’s baby shower! We love working on parties with themes, especially when they’re different and original! They are so much fun!!!! These are a couple of photos of what we came up with!!

This past weekend we were asked by a client to do a cake, cupcake, cookie package for her daughter Sophia’s Christening. The cake is a vanilla cake with whip cream filling, layered with white fondant and pink and white blossoms. Congrats to Sophia of Succusanna, New Jersey! We had a wonderful time at The Villa in Moutain Lakes last night,  following a personal invitation by John Fucci, the manager of  The Villa, thank you John!  It was wonderful meeting the owner, Robert Frungillo (who also owns The Castle at Skylands Manor), as well as meeting Linda Pergola from The Castle, Traci Zimmerman from the Marriott and bumping into our old friend, Randy Polo from the Park Avenue Club.  We had so much fun socializing with these incredible people and eating amazing food!  The place looks incredible since it was renovated five years ago by Robert Frungillo.  Those of you looking for a FABULOUS  banquet hall, check this place out, it’s out of this world!!!
