It’s officially the start of Summer, and I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day!!!! The Summer has ARRIVED! What a weekend this is going to be, it kicks off today with our friend’s college graduation party this afternoon which of course we’re providing the cookies for! She just doesn’t know it yet! Hehehe…who doesn’t loves surprises! Then Sunday, Chris and I have to finish preparing for Monday’s festivities! Our annual Memorial Day BBQ! It’s always so much fun! Hopefully we’ll have some down time in between for some REST AND RELAXATION; it’s been a crazy couple of months!! But I’ve enjoyed every minute of it!

I will be back in action on May 26, 2009. Your messages and inquires are VERY important to me. Be sure to leave me a detailed message at info@sensiblysweetnj.com and I will get back to you upon my return.
Have a happy and healthy Memorial Day! ENJOY!
This past Sunday we were honored to provide Christening cookies for Jenny Orsini. For those of you who don’t know Jenny, she’s the owner of the fabulous “Pampered Bride Weddings”. She has been featured on “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?!,” The Best of 2008 Project Wedding, and “The Knot Best of Weddings 2009″….just to name a few! Here’s a shot of what we did for her, photographed by the incredible Josh Lynn!

It was a pleasure working with her and we look forward to continuing to work with her and her ladies at PBW again in the very near future!

This past Saturday was Meaghan’s First Communion. It was an absolute pleasure working with her mother, Kristin. Here are a couple of photos of the favors and centerpieces we did for her special day! Courtesy of the AMAZING Josh Lynn!

Back in March we were approached by the Hebrew Academy of Morris County to participate in their annual Fashion Show. We were delighted to provide them with “Casablanca” themed centerpieces, since this year’s Fashion Show was based around “Casablanca.” We decided to incorporate cookies with some famous quotes from the movie into the centerpieces. The fashion show took place last Thursday night! Here are a couple of pics of what we did! (Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a good shot of the balloon arch)

“A Kiss is but a kiss”

“We’ll always have Paris”

“Here’s looking at you kid”
That’s all for now! Have a great day everyone!

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I know I did! Last week was a great week for us! We were asked by a client if we could make Peter Rabbit themed cookies for her daughter’s baby shower! We love working on parties with themes, especially when they’re different and original! They are so much fun!!!! These are a couple of photos of what we came up with!!

Enjoy!!!
