WOW! I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of June! This year has flown….especially the month of June! I can’t get over it! Well…these past few weeks have been jam packed with a lot of different events. We got to work with the fabulous Jenny Orsini of PBW again! But this time it was a very special request for her dad for Father’s Day. Her dad works with a Bichon Frise rescue organization, so of course we had to make cookies after his favorite puppies!
Also last Thursday we had another graduation, this time a double for Lisa and Arthur! Congrats to you both!

It’s been a little quiet here on the blog, we’ve had a very busy month! We are working on a lot of new and different ideas that will be added soon enough to the Sensibly Sweet portfolio! In the midst of working on a very fabulous, very couture wedding (pics still to come!), we’ve also been working on baby showers and many, many graduations! It’s crazy! Everyone is graduating this year…including two people who are very close to Chris and I! Our friend Jackie just graduated from Penn State, and Chris’s sister Becca just graduated from high school! Congratulations to you both! Here’s a pic of the cookies we made for Jackie’s graduation party.

Back in April a client of ours asked us for a customized “First Communion” favor for her daughter. She was looking for something unique and described her daughter’s dress. This gave my mom the opportunity to use her fashion background to make a replica of our client’s dress. Together we brainstormed in converting this idea into a very special cookie that isn’t done with any old cookie cutter, that’s the beauty of it! This was the beginning of what we call our “Couture Fashions.” We made the Lindsay dress for another customer and last month we added the Eva dress with matching Isabella earrings. We’ve had so much fun with this new idea that we plan on adding more couture fashion ideas to our portfolio every chance we get! Talk about fabulous “Team” work!!!!
